Disposal & Re-deploy
Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. can provide disposal services to its contract customers. NTS works with local recycling companies to appropriately dispose of the equipment following EPA guidelines and provides certification and indemnification paperwork to its customer. We also have working relationships with charitable and faith-based organizations and distressed communities to cascade used equipment that is still in good working order. In the event of leased equipment, NTS will work with the customer and the leasing entity to insure timely and accurate returns. Removal of machines at lease end includes the administrative processing and fulfillment of requests for removal of Covered Equipment for disposal, donation, or deployment. Our disposal service includes, but is not limited to:
•Coordination with the user or other designees to schedule the removal and disposition of the PC and/or computer peripheral;
•Performing back ups and/or transferring the resident data in accordance with customer instructions;
•Physically removing the machine and moving it to a disposal preparation area as designated by the customer;
•Ensuring the asset data is updated and the device is prepared for disposal including removal of all customer asset tags and removal of any devices specified in the disposal order;
•Performing hard drive deletion of data or destruction of physical drive in accordance with DOD regulations and SEC 514 policy compliance
•Reinstallation of an OS;
•Packing of Covered Equipment for transportation;
•Once the equipment is staged, transportation can be arranged.
