Warranty Authorization
As an authorized warranty and repair center for most Tier 1 manufacturers, NTS is well situated to address any warranty issues that may arise. In accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions for warranty work, NTS will repair and/or replace defective product.
Today’s warranty programs can be categorized into two general divisions: those which reimburse the service provider (NTS) for service and parts and those which reimburse for only parts. Products that come with an “on-site” warranty furnish additional monetary provision to the service provider for the handling of warranty service calls. Under this program, NTS would diagnose the problem and have a replacement part shipped overnight from the manufacturer or released from local inventory. Upon receipt of the replacement part, a NTS Technician would go on-site to replace the part.
Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. offers various levels of “uplift” to the manufacturers’ warranty. Uplifting the warranty takes in to consideration that certain components are reimbursable and NTS commits to such services as on-site response, remediation and loaner unit provisions.
